Subject: Love My TrailPix!

Unsolicited note from a happy user:)
Hello Andy,
I took the Trail Pix to Nepal for our 2 week trekking trip in the Annapurna region this spring and I'm really glad I did.  I had trekking poles anyway so the Trail Pix was a great light option.  I got up for a lot of sunrises and got some great shots so thank you!  The shot below was taken with the Trail Pix (and my Sony a6000) and is of Khopra lodge in the foreground and Dhaulagiri (7th tallest mountain in the world).
Best regards,

General Update

I haven't written anything in a while and wanted to provide a quick update - I've taken over shipping from my fulfillment center and am now doing it out of my home. Giving the kids a chance to demonstrate responsibility (with my supervision of course) and it's fun to personally see where on the globe TrailPix is going! So, all is well, TrailPix continues to sell well and I'm preparing to make another TrailPix order to replenish stock.  My return rate is hovering around (only!) 0.5%, and I get very positive feedback, so order with confidence!

Free US shipping / $20 shipping nearly everywhere

Trail Pix has been selling steadily, and I am trying out a new promotion for shipping costs. Couldn't be much simpler - Free shipping on all US orders, and a $20 flat rate to pretty much everywhere else.  This should make ordering easier, and give you a clear idea of what everything will cost up front.  Hope you enjoy Trail Pix!

Products in Stock

Hello All,

All of the kickstarter orders have shipped and your TrailPix is in the warehouse, ready for shipment!  Everything looks awesome and I am very happy with the way things turned out.

So, TrailPix has transitioned from a sunny-day musing on the trail to a physical product you can order and have in your hands in a few days. It's been quite an experience, and I'm really excited to see how TrailPix gets used in the field.

Best Regards,

First Post

Hello and Welcome to my first ever blog post, and moreover my first e-commerce website!

My goal with TrailPix was to build a superb product that would help people everywhere capture more of their memories in the great outdoors.  Based on feedback from users, I think TrailPix meets that goal.

I am extrremely grateful to all the backers that made TrailPix successful on Kickstarter in the first 24 hours and went on to more than triple the funding goal.... That was a great start, and with this site I'm looking forward to bringing TrailPix to an ever broader audience as time goes on.
